[PRESS RELEASE] June 22, 2023 – Irvine, CA – Magnitude Lighting, an independent designer and developer of LED power technology; strategically focused on LED drivers and transformers for commercial and residential applications, continues to enhance customer support with the addition of two key team members.
Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Richard Turner is a veteran of the lighting industry, with over 20 years of experience. He has developed business for GE Lighting, TCP, and Seoul Semiconductor, Rich is an expert in controllers, lighting sources, LEDs, and drivers. He has joined the Magnitude Lighting team as the Regional Sales Manager for the Central Region, which encompasses several economically relevant states of the United States.
Rich joins Magnitude with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the US Military Academy of West Point. He earned his airborne wings and Ranger tab and led four tank platoons as part of an armored battalion in Mannheim, Germany, where he was stationed during the unification of the country. Rich is fluent in German, French, and Flemish, and enjoys being active outdoors.

In addition, Gustavo Flores, a five-year veteran and former Electronic Maintenance Manager of the Marine Corps, has joined our team as Technical Service Engineer. “Gus” joins us with a strong sense of service and experience in coaching, technical support and training, safety, testing and calibration, and quality control. Gus is a well-rounded professional who is customer-focused, creative, and passionate about solving technical challenges.
Gus began his career as a Maintenance Technician and quickly gained two promotions becoming a Maintenance Manager at Camp Pendleton, CA, where he administrated the daily activities of communication maintenance, servicing other members of the Marine Corp, and third-party contractors. The quality of his service was recognized and awarded, and now he joins Magnitude with great enthusiasm for service.
